NIKE's basketball division officially presents the sixth generation of models signed by star KOBE BRYANT.

The ZOOM KOBE VI is inspired by the player's alter ego, called BLACK MAMBA, and its design features elements taken from the most dangerous snakes, translated into the form of polyurethane islands spread across the shoe's upper, imitating snake skin, to a greater or lesser extent. size depending on the areas most subject to wear.

The main challenge imposed by the player on the NIKE design team was to create a technical model that would adapt well to everyday life but that would be, above all, incredibly comfortable.

The solution found for comfort, then, was the creation of an insole made of injected Phylon, a material with a memory effect that also helps with impact cushioning, which is a responsibility of the ZOOM AIR system.

The ultra-light sneakers have an upper made up of a triple layer of breathable materials, the inner layer made of mesh, the middle layer made of FLYWIRE and the outer layer, again made of mesh, now combined with polyurethane islands to guarantee resistance and durability.

With maximum traction in mind, the ZOOM KOBE VI has an extra durable rubber outsole with a grooved pattern also inspired by the BLACK MAMBA theme.
